With oily extract of Mastic , which has the following properties:
- It reduces redness and skin irritation helping to soothe and alleviate the discomfort of sensitive skin by activating the re-epithelialization processes.
- It performs anti-aging and repairing functions on all skin types thanks to its monoterpene content including pinene.
- Provides hydration to the skin.
- Also suitable for skin affected by common dermatitis and psoriasis.
Sweet Almond Oil It is used in cosmetics and dermatology as an emollient, nourishing and elasticizing agent; due to its high affinity with skin sebum, it is tolerated even by the most delicate and sensitive skin.
Calendula oil extract It is highly appreciated in cosmetics for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, anti-reddening, eudermic (skin repairing and regenerating) properties. It is mainly composed of triterpene esters, carotenoids, flavonoids and coumarins and is an important ally in the fight against solar radiation, thus providing a natural anti-aging and anti-wrinkle action. It is also often present in after-sun products, in preparations for children and in products for impure and acneic skin or with rosacea.
In addition to almond oil and the oily extract of Mastic tree and of Calendula , for the eye contour we have thought of a water-soluble “functional package” made up of natural extracts of Horsetail , Cucumber And Mauve and from the use of Orange Blossom hydrolate instead of purified water.
Horsetail extract , thanks to its firming, smoothing and elasticizing properties, is appreciated for its adjuvant treatment in reducing skin expression lines and wrinkles and stretch marks in general. Its main chemical constituents are silicon, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phytosterols, mineral salts (potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc) and vitamins that contribute to the regeneration of the epidermis on a broad spectrum.
Cucumber extract It is notoriously indicated in facial products for combination-oily or oily skin and for dull, lifeless or hyperpigmented skin, as well as in products for sensitive skin or in energizing toners and cleansers. It is rich in vitamins (especially B9, C and K), mineral salts and enzymes. It has astringent, purifying, soothing, hydrating and refreshing properties. It also has a slight lightening action on hyperpigmentation, illuminating and evening out the complexion.
Malva extract , rich in typical active ingredients consisting of mucilages, tannins, anthocyanins, flavonoid sulphates, organic acids, carotenes, amino acids, potassium salts. At a cosmetic level, the main properties of Malva are anti-inflammatory, soothing, refreshing, emollient, therefore perfectly suitable for sensitive skin and consequently in the area around the eyes where the skin is thinner and more irritable due to atmospheric agents.
Orange Blossom Hydrolate It has dermopurifying and decongestant properties due to the presence of essential oil well solubilized in water. It is therefore well indicated for its exceptional properties on the skin, especially sensitive, reactive, mature, dry and dull because it acts by counteracting irritation, revitalizing the skin and illuminating the complexion of the face.
There Beeswax is used here as a natural Ceramides supplier. Dry and very dry skin progressively forms wrinkles by stretching the junctions between skin cells. Ceramides improve adhesion between corneocytes (the outer cells of the epidermis), thus regulating the long-term water retention of the skin barrier, protecting it from the external environment. Ceramides form a non-occlusive protective barrier, reduce the damage of water loss and show no negative influence on cell physiology.
